Alaska - Day Eleven

This is my last post from Alaska - catching the red-eye back to Wisconsin tomorrow. I hope you've enjoyed the images over the last eleven days from the Last Frontier. I've shot close to 3,000 images, so I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the year!

I spent some time today on the waters of Kachemak Bay, which is home to Gull Island, one of the largest rookeries in the world. At any given time, almost 15,000 birds can be found nearby. Hope you enjoy these photos.
