The Monroe Arts Center's Exhibit, 35 12x12s, opens this Friday, March 4. I am happy to be a part of this exhibit with a variation of my print, Bobbysocks Trees, Firehole River ~ Yellowstone National Park.
This invitational exhibit showcases a select group of thirty-five artists from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Each artist was required to create a piece of artwork that fits within the dimension of approximately twelve square inches. With no restrictions on subject matter, the artwork ranges from abstract to representational including people, landscapes, animals, and themes in nature. A broad variety of media is represented and includes painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, wood-turning, photography, collage, basket weaving, metal work, paper cutting, fractal art, bronze sculpture, and jewelry. The exhibit runs through March 25. For more information, please click here.
