Boulder Junction Art Fair Next Week!

I'll be making the trek to the northwoods next week for Boulder Junction's annual Art Fair. It's Sunday, August 12, from 9:00-4:00. I'll be on the main drag, near the Blueberry Patch gift shop.

Lots of new prints this year, including some fresh images from the Apostle Islands (like the ones below - click on the image to get a larger view). Hope you see you in the Muskie Capitol of the World!

Upper Michigan

Just returned from a few days shooting in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. As with Wisconsin, a lot of the flowers were ahead of a "normal" year...however, there was still plenty to see and photograph. Here's some images (as always, click on the image to see a larger version). Hope you enjoy!

Spring Wildflowers in Wisconsin

We've had an interesting spring here in Wisconsin. Our March felt more like July, while April has been more like March. It's certainly made timing for wildflower photography interesting in the least.

Happily, the cooler April weather has allowed some of the wildflowers which might have a showy, but brief, display, have been sticking around a bit longer.

Photographs now available in Paoli

I'm happy to announce that starting today, I will have my images available at Lovely Days Gallery in Paoli. If you live in southern Dane or northern Rock and green counties, Paoli is a fantastic little burg to visit! It's become home to several fine galleries along with local cheese and food shops. Lovely Days is a terrific gallery, located in an old mill, with a wide variety of art available. To learn more about the gallery, click here.

My work will still be available at High Street Gallery (my main gallery) in Mineral Point. If you want a wonderful taste of Christmas, visit Mineral Point on December 3 - it's the final Gallery Night of the year in town. Mineral Point will be beautifully decorated and the streets will be lit by candelight during the evening.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my various art shows this year. The "road-show" season wrapped up last weekend with the Winter Art Festival in Madison. Planning for 2012 art shows is well underway and the tentative calendar will be on my website soon.

Winter Art Festival This Weekend!
