Gallery Opening This Saturday!

The final touches are being put on High Street Gallery for opening day on Saturday, April 2! The painting and prep on the space is done, we're making final art placement and hanging tomorrow, our new website is up and running...everything is just about ready!

Saturday evening is also the first of four 2011 Gallery Nights in Mineral Point. All of the galleries in town (High Street Gallery included) will be open late and are featuring special events, artists and food! A great way to start the 2011 season.

Almost ready for primetime...

We are only a couple of weeks away from the opening of the High Street Gallery in Mineral Point! Very exciting times as the painting, cleaning, and arranging is finishing up.

We open April 4 for the season. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year in this quaint, historic town!

Monroe Art Center Exhibit Opens Friday!

The Monroe Arts Center's Exhibit, 35 12x12s, opens this Friday, March 4. I am happy to be a part of this exhibit with a variation of my print, Bobbysocks Trees, Firehole River ~ Yellowstone National Park.

This invitational exhibit showcases a select group of thirty-five artists from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Each artist was required to create a piece of artwork that fits within the dimension of approximately twelve square inches. With no restrictions on subject matter, the artwork ranges from abstract to representational including people, landscapes, animals, and themes in nature. A broad variety of media is represented and includes painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, wood-turning, photography, collage, basket weaving, metal work, paper cutting, fractal art, bronze sculpture, and jewelry. The exhibit runs through March 25. For more information, please click here.
